Terry Longmore . The Home of Personal Training Terry started his professional career as a Fitness Coach in 1997 being an apprentice trainer in the US studying an NGA (National Gym Assoc.) manual. Terry recalls: “The biggest manual I’ve ever seen in my life”. By studying this manual Terry became astute, curious and studious in seeking a career as a professional trainer.

Terry’s passion for sport and love of life is quite evident in his demeanour and character. He has become a consummate professional as a trainer and meticulous in his methodology and practice. He consumes the concept of health and well-being. Terry’s experience spans over 15 years from both sides of the Atlantic. In the United States his sports/athletics background is diverse in various sports. His first Love athletics (100m & 200m), American Football, Boxing & Soccer. At the age of 29 Terry suffered a horrific (left) ankle injury which required 4 hours of surgery to repair a dislocated ankle. This fatal injury ended further playing aspirations which then led Terry down the path of fitness righteousness as he calls it!

Terry relocated to London as an experiment in 2000 with zero clients. After an in depth consultation with his cousin Wayne who persuaded Terry to establish a base in London, because he believed Terry would be a hit. Well, 14 years on and counting cousin Wayne was correct and his believe has paid dividends. Terry has trained virtually every type of client since establishing himself in London. From the very young, athletes and non-athletic sporty clients, city professionals, entrepreneurs, housewives (pre & post natal), and the elderly.

Terry has extensive knowledge in Strength & Conditioning (S&C) and sports specific training. He spent four years as Head of S&C at Dukes Meadows Golf and Tennis in West London. from 2010-2014. His responsibilities were to keep some the top young tennis & Golf athletes of GB & Europe in the best playing shape of their lives, plus oversee a small team of other elite trainers. Today Terry still has a core of young elite athletes he trains in the field of Tennis and even has a young keen Karate champion to his stable. Terry is always devoting himself to improving his knowledge and recently completed a Bachelors degree in Psychology (see qualifications below). Terry recently appeared on TV in a reality TV episode in the series called “Best in Town” on BBC Entertainment. An episode featuring 3 trainers competing against each other vying for the right to be called The Best Trainer in town. Needless to mention Terry clearly excelled under the spotlight and reality challenges he was faced with against his competitors. He has also appeared on several radio shows promoting Health & Well-being. There is no stopping Terry has he aims to strategically amalgamate psychology & Fitness with a unique blend that soothes the well-being of us mortals.
